Ahhhhh… Pebble Beach in Door County, perhaps one of my favorite locations in the world. And every now and then I get to share my special little place with awesome people and capture them playing and skipping rocks as though they were little kids again. That’s what Emily and Matt were… giddy little kids on a brand new playground and I had my camera. It was a good day…
For months we’ve looked forward to spending this evening with dear friends of ours from back in the day. The celebrations we’ve captured in Door County have each incorporated a unique welcome for guests embracing the traditions of the county. From a late summer fish boil to epic early summer bonfire, nothing has been short of amazing.
Mark and Katie grew up in Door County and this was our first ‘childhood home’ wedding up there. Having grown up riding her bike up the road to grandma and grandpas farm, there was no other place Katie would have wanted this celebration to be. Enjoy a different look at Door County and this hometown gathering of friends and family.
