A Cape Cod Wedding :: Part 4/4 {carrie & stasia}

We hope you have enjoyed living this special day through our artistic interpretation. If you have not already taken the time, in 1 of 4 we began to showcase the beauty Cape Cod brought to the girls wedding celebration.  In 2 of 4 we shared a little highlight of the cinematic artistry we were creating–a lasting film memory to compliment the photographic imagery. Within 3 of 4 we really sought to inspire creativity and showcase the importance of hand selected vendors.

This brings us to the last of Carrie & Stasia’s amazing event. For destination wedding couples, offering a creative day after session allows us all to continue the fun from the previous day as well as have some relaxed time to get portraits in settings that there simply wasn’t time to include on the wedding day!  These sessions can be whatever you dream & a wonderful excuse to get another wear out of your wedding attire, minus the shoes! In this day after session, happy with bare feet, we were really able to capture the playful flirtations that emanate from true love. The late afternoon sun was the perfect compliment to the girls basking in the glow of their post wedding day bliss. Carrie had stated it in her vows the previous day and it so perfectly tied into our last afternoon together, “and your love embraces me like this gorgeous sun today”

We are truly blessed with the amazing couples that find us. Although we feel we can never thank them enough, our hopes are that through our eyes, they forever remember the love and good times shared on their wedding day. And in this case, in the days surrounding.

A Wedding at Mulberry Lane Farm {christina & jerry}

A wedding in a barn? One might think at first that that would not be the ideal location for such an intimate affair but I think it’s perfect. It’s perfect because it feels like home. Christina and Jerry had a very handmade wedding this past autumn including gifting the family Apple Butter to all their guests, gathering all the Apple Bar apples from the local Spranger’s Orchard and decorating this beautiful barn along with the amazingly talent of Michelle from Flower Girl Design Studio.
Their wedding was one of the most emotional weddings we’ve photographed this past year. I have never met or seen a groom so in love with his future bride and freely express his thoughts and feelings to the loved ones surrounding them. Jerry, thank you for being so completely raw and honest with your feelings and reminding me why I love this job so darn much.
Enjoy.

A Cape Cod Wedding Film :: Part 2/4 {carrie & stasia}

In part one of our Cape Cod post we introduced you to many of the sights of Cape Cod, but of course there are many more details to come!  But what about the sounds and the motion of a wedding day?  The laughs, the happy tears, the one time you hear your Dad truly express how he feels during his toast, and the heartfelt personal vows?  Photography is wonderful at providing a viewer with seeing a moment in time and for the viewer to interpret that moment as they wish, while wedding films add a dynamic which is more guided and able to tell a complete story in an entertaining way.  I hope in this short sneak peek we can transport you to Carrie and Stasia’s beautiful wedding at the Winslow Estate in Orleans, MA and help you feel their day and why they are a perfect match for each other.

Enjoy!
