This EAA Wedding day is pretty much the most romantic thing we’ve ever seen in a museum about planes… haha! But really, the golds, pinks and navy color scheme played beautifully for Alexandra and Patrick’s wedding day. Romantic and masculine all wrapped in one.

Do you think of colors as emotions? We certainly do! Getting an idea of your vision before stepping into your wedding day sets us up for how we photograph your story. We pair landscapes and backdrops with your accessories, we tie the beginning of your day with the end of your day and the thought of your portraits being displayed side by side with your venue details keeps us thinking all day long. We love the Fox Cities Senior Photographer scene, there are so many amazing styles in photography that finding the right one for you shouldn’t be hard. After you have found your match, scheduled your session and read through all of your pre-session information, you might wonder what’s next?

At Kim Thiel Photography, we have a whole team (who you’ll meet along the way) that wants you to relax and look forward to your session! Having your portrait taken is not an everyday occurrence, it’s special and we want you to enjoy every moment of it. A little bit of planning can go a long way to help ease any stresses that might pop up on your session day. From our scheduling and studio team to our hair and makeup team, we all want to set you up with the best experience possible. Planning outfits and accessories before your photo date will ease the ‘what-ifs’ on the day of, but when you arrive at the studio it’s all about you! We talk about the outfit choices you brought along and decide on locations that will highlight them (and you!) the best. We discuss hair and makeup styles that will lend themselves well to the whole session. And most importantly, we get to know you! We want your character to shine through your images ~ after all, this is a once in a lifetime experience!

Playful Spring Engagement

Most sessions are memorable in some form. Sometimes it’s the deep conversation it turns to, sometimes it’s when we uncover something new about each other and I get to capture the moment, and sometimes it’s just a fun personality that come out that resonates with me! My favorite moment from this session is when I asked Parker to whisper a story in Marissa’s ear. At first they got all sweet and cuddly and then bust into this adoring laughter of love. I no sooner learn he was telling her, in his deepest, sweetest most serious voice, he was so hungry and he couldn’t wait to be done so he could eat. Parker, I’m so happy you made it through your beautiful spring engagement session!
