Life has miracles. The whole amazing transformation from conception to delivery mesmerizes me in so many glorious ways. Having gone through the entire experience twice myself,  being asked to document life as it begins is simply an honor and delight for me.  I am truly thankful for that families that value the moments leading up to the grandest of miracles, life actualized with that very first breath.  Enjoy this sweet baby’s heartfelt entrance to her welcoming family.

one year ago {irie’s birth story}

In my family, we believe in miracles as much as we do in blessings. Neither is more powerful than the other and we thank God ever day for both of them.
It wasn’t until I had children of my own that I realized how special {birth}days are. Today we will celebrate our youngest daughter, Irie’s first miraculous year of change. Her arrival was the most powerful, natural and life changing experience I have had since Ayda’s birth. My children continue to raise me up along side us raising them…a sharing of love in it’s purest form.

Because of my talented and gifted sister, I have these beautiful birth moments to not only cherish but share. There is no way I could ever thank you enough Kim.

If you are a parent, you know that the arrival of your newborn is a profoundly powerful experience. The very moment that you first lay eyes on your baby is an event that you will forever remember. It’s in that tender moment that not only a miracle is born but the second miracle of your heart growing even bigger magically happens.
I am always beaming from ear to ear at the opportunity to welcome my clients into parenthood. Being able to capture the wee ones in all their newness is a treat. I just adore the creamy colors and complimentary textures in this special session of baby McKayla.
