Wisconsin Senior Portraits {miss elizabeth}

Oh, it’s been a beautiful year in Kim Thiel Photography Senior portrait world! One of our first to be photographed this year was Miss Elizabeth.  For some reason it’s been a windy season and so we’ve been embracing it and creating some stunning images with the help of a little added motion. I love it. Stay tuned for a gallery of hair I hope to put together by the end of the season.

Elizabeth, you’re beautiful!  Sharon from Face First Makeup Artistry, thank YOU for enhancing that natural glow to all of our girls and knowing just what it takes to make our girls shine.

We Have A New Studio Assistant {miss ari}

This has been a big year of changes for us so far.  One of the biggest is hiring and training a new studio assistant! Ari was one of our high school seniors we photographed last year and we had a blast.  During her session she shared with us her interest in both photography and film work so Jason and I had started talking about integrating her talents and interests into the business over the winter.  Come Spring it was full steam ahead and she’s now taking over like a champ!

From Ari:

‘As a big fan of Kim’s work, I chose her as my senior picture photographer. We had a blast together during my shoot in September of last year and stayed connected throughout the school year. As my senior year ended, I was offered the job of my dreams with Kim Thiel Photography and Copper Clover Films.

Some facts about me:

During my last six years of schooling I was a homeschool student. (this put a HUGE smile on our face as we, too, homeschool Finn and Ellie)

I graduated at the Magic Kingdom castle in Disney World. (once upon a time I worked at Disney 😉 )

I’ll be 18 years old on June 17th.

I was an allstar cheerleader with Green Bay Elite for three years. I also taught tumbling and cheer classes and was a student coach for an amazing special needs team.

My favorite song changes on the daily.

I love all things sweet, which is one reason why Kim and I work well together. (this is sooooo true!)

I’m really into makeup artistry.

I have two dogs but I may play favorites with my coonhound, Erma.

Concerts are my favorite thing to do in the summer. (um, hello… )

Ari, we are beyond thrilled to share our creative space and have you on board with our team this year!

-Kim
