Cookie Making with the Fun Kids {cause & co.}

A big part of our mission here is to give back to our clients and community thru a sub brand we created called Cause & Co.  Each session we invite our clients to share with us any charitable and inspiring community involvement they partake in.

Miss Carlie was one of our seniors this past summer and shared her involvement in FAN club, which stands for ‘Friends at North’.  Here’s what she has to share:  ‘It’s a group that strives to support all of our activities that are held on school grounds.  We attend sporting events, theater presentations, improvedy, anything and everything under the sun!  I had first heard of FAN club from Ms. D in Lifeskills.  Lifeskills is a class where we get to be a mentor essentially for a child with special needs every quarter.  Working with these kids is so rewarding, they have so much to offer.  Everyday they teach me something and I am so blessed to be a part of such an incredible program.’

It was fun to witness and capture all the silliness and laughter that this group has!

Thank you Carlie for being so fabulous and sharing this beautiful life with us!

Exceptional Abilities Prom {Appleton North High School}

Where do I even begin to express the heart warming feeling of capturing the Exceptional Abilities Prom at Appleton North High School each year. The genuine outpouring of acceptance and friendship is unmatched by any event I’ve ever attended. Together with Matt Teske from Fortune Talent DJ Services a fantastic celebration at this end-of-year event is sure to take place.

Part of our mission at Kim Thiel Photography is to give back to our community by capturing events our clients are involved in. Two of our Class of 2013 Seniors had a big hand in planning this prom event. Thank you Lizzie Hoff and Emily Bruce for inviting us to capture this beautiful life. And to Lizzie’s sweet friend, Dani and her mom Joelle, I especially thank you for inviting us into your home and allowing us to document a very special night for you as well. Even though no words were spoken, seeing the excitement on Dani’s face was all I needed to know just how much she loved having her photos taken.
