The other week we chatted about some wardrobe do’s and don’ts. This week we’re going to touch base on the some things to keep in mind beyond your wardrobe. We are always looking to showcase the best YOU there is, but to do that we require a bit of prep work from you before your session. Take a peek below at some keep tips to help make the most out of your session date.

• Drink plenty of water the day before and the day of your session! Your skin is your biggest organ and can easily look dull and flat when you miss out on your water intake. Drinking plenty of water on the regular is ideal. But upping that intake the day prior to your session and the day of will ensure a radiant glow for your portraits.
• Get plenty of rest the night before! We all know too well that pulling an all nighter, staying up till dawn watching your favorite thrillers or giggling with your girlfriends till the early morning hours can really do a number on you. So plan for a full night’s rest the evening before your session. You won’t regret it.
• Take care of those hands! Easily overlooked, your hands and nails need pampering before your session date too. Prefer not to have them professionally cared for, that’s perfectly ok! Just plan on giving them a good scrub and maybe a clear coat yourself prior to your session.
