Appleton Senior Photography {style is everything}

I wanted to share a quick peek at Molly’s Senior Photo Session.   We invest a great deal of time at your style consultation ensuring each outfit tells its own story about you.  Molly’s session was evidence of that.  I LOVE how she switched every outfit up and made each look completely different head-to-toe.  Face First Makeup Artistry did Molly’s airbrush makeup for this session giving her a bright and natural look.

Class of 2013, we have a few sessions available in August yet and would love to have you in front of our camera!  Every session comes with a style consultation and professional makeup, you’re going to look gorgeous!  Head to our Senior Page for more information.  But don’t wait, summer’s almost gone!

A Wedding at Mulberry Lane Farm {christina & jerry}

A wedding in a barn? One might think at first that that would not be the ideal location for such an intimate affair but I think it’s perfect. It’s perfect because it feels like home. Christina and Jerry had a very handmade wedding this past autumn including gifting the family Apple Butter to all their guests, gathering all the Apple Bar apples from the local Spranger’s Orchard and decorating this beautiful barn along with the amazingly talent of Michelle from Flower Girl Design Studio.
Their wedding was one of the most emotional weddings we’ve photographed this past year. I have never met or seen a groom so in love with his future bride and freely express his thoughts and feelings to the loved ones surrounding them. Jerry, thank you for being so completely raw and honest with your feelings and reminding me why I love this job so darn much.
Enjoy.

Outdoor Senior Portraits

I’m a fan of supporting the local arts and I certainly consider Mother Nature to be an artist. My favorite location to photograph at is Bubolz Nature Center. If you have never been I encourage you to take a shower in insect repellent and head out there some evening for a little peace and quiet. The golden kiss of our setting summer sun along with the hypnotic sounds of crickets will cleanse your mind and erase all the worries of the day. Maggie’s evening summer session certainly took that all in.

Enjoy.
