Madison Engagement on Union Terrace {lindsay + philly}

So, there are some pretty cool people in this world, and Lindsay and Philly make two of them.  They invited me to Madison to capture their engagement photos and after strolling around the capitol building, wandering down State Street and venturing out on Union Terrace we found ourselves starving so set out an a culinary adventure.  One of the fun things about these two is that they always try a new restaurant.  In Madison that’ll keep you busy for years!  As we meandered back up State Street we found ourselves in front of an Authentic Nepali restaurant and proceeded to share an adventurous family-style dinner together… and ate goat.

Lindsay and Phil, I love you like family already!  Thank you for the fun memories and letting me photograph your beautiful faces.

Wisconsin Senior Portraits {miss elizabeth}

Oh, it’s been a beautiful year in Kim Thiel Photography Senior portrait world! One of our first to be photographed this year was Miss Elizabeth.  For some reason it’s been a windy season and so we’ve been embracing it and creating some stunning images with the help of a little added motion. I love it. Stay tuned for a gallery of hair I hope to put together by the end of the season.

Elizabeth, you’re beautiful!  Sharon from Face First Makeup Artistry, thank YOU for enhancing that natural glow to all of our girls and knowing just what it takes to make our girls shine.

Wisconsin Rustic Engagement Photography {jeff + netha}

Every now and then there’s a couple that comes along with a really interesting story… this year it’s these two. Our love story defines who we are and guides me along a unique photographic journey with each couple. When I share this little space between my camera and a new couple there’s a magical little spark that happens. It’s what keeps me in love with what I do. Jeff and Netha were a peaceful, playful, adorable couple filled with art, adventure and friends all over the country. I am honored that they chose us to document this years’ journey.
