Fresh Clover {Lifestyle Session}

Running through fields of heavenly scented clover is something not to be missed this summer.

With Kari gone from the studio, this is a glimpse into what she is doing with her extra time. She shared this little session capturing some of the carefree moments I hope our girls continue to have throughout life. Soak it in, be inspired and run free.

Fresh Clover Tea

2C fresh white or purple clover heads

3C distilled water

2T clover honey

Boil water, add clover, remove from heat and steep for 15mins. Strain, add honey and enjoy the taste of summer.

Wisconsin Lake House Lifestyle Session {the tischer famliy}

Ah, summer vacation… how many of us have summer memories they wish they could re-tap? The Tischer family knows all too well that their annual family gatherings at the Lake House will not last forever and invited me to join in a day of pure summer fun. It was the final year for their annual summer tradition of lunch at the Lake House, a gathering of cousins at the end of the dock, rubber duck races and a lot of R&R.

These memories and this haven of escape will be missed dearly by the entire family but surely never forgotten. Enjoy.

A Door County Lifestyle Session {the downs family}

There are few things in life that, when we look back at, we truly have a vivid memory of. However, one of my most vivid memories of my childhood will always be summers in Door County. There’s something about the buzz of tiny little harbor towns that will forever hold a place in my heart. Pair that with the cleansing feeling of Door County’s crystal clear water and the smell of campfire and wet cedar that floods your senses when you arrive and I’m immediately transported to a state of calm and happiness.

Spending the day capturing summer memories for this beautiful family was food for the soul. I could only wish I had a small photo documentary of a few summer days in Door County. Days like this may seem so insignificant now but fast forward 30 years and I’m sure they may produce a few tears. Investing in family memories is one of the greatest things you could ever do; our minds will fail us…

Marissa and Ryan, I thank you dearly for these memories and know they will age beautifully with time.
