Photographing a proposal is a rollercoaster of emotions for a photographer, we can’t imagine how the soon to be groom was feeling! The excitement and anticipation was sky high as we met Ben and Stephanie at Cavanaugh Carriages for a portrait session. Stephanie was under the impression these pictures would be used throughout social media for the Cavanaugh’s and didn’t suspect a thing as we snapped away!

The evening sky was closing in fast, so as Ben and Stephanie took a moment to warm up in their car we set the scene with the Cavanaugh team. We love gut reactions so once Ben and Stephanie were warmly tucked into the sleigh, we gave Ben the signal that we were set when he was! No more directing or posing for pictures from us, the rest was genuine joy! Congratulations on your new engagment Ben and Stephanie, we are thrilled to be part of your story!
