When Kara contacted us to photograph her wedding the conversation started something like this: ‘We’re planing a small wedding this winter at a cabin on our family’s private land in Door County, ideally outdoors with a beautiful weather and a light snowfall”.   With a few more details, and I do believe a few tears as well, we made plans to meet in Chicago for their engagement session where they had met just a few short years ago.   In my opinion, their wedding will be perfect no matter what the weather because these two will be surrounded by people who love them and it’s obvious they adore one another.
